Kokubo Fat and Oil Absorbing Sheet helps remove excess oil from food, making dishes cleaner without affecting flavour or texture. Each sheet is about 20CM in diameter and comes in a pack of 12, providing a simple way to reduce unwanted oil while cooking. Designed for soups, stews, and broths, these sheets absorb surface oil and lock it in, preventing it from mixing back into your food. They stay in place during cooking, so you can focus on preparing your meal without needing to adjust them.

Made from safe materials, the Kokubo Fat and Oil Absorbing Sheet is great for simmering dishes that need longer cooking times. The slit design prevents shifting, keeping the sheet steady even as liquid boils. It can also double as a temporary lid, helping retain heat while controlling oil buildup. Whether you're making a slow-cooked curry or a light broth, these sheets offer a simple way to manage oil while keeping cooking hassle-free.

How to use:

Start by adding water or broth to your ingredients in the pot. Before heating, place the sheet on top.  Once the sheet is in place, heat your dish as usual. Once the oil or scum has been collected, carefully remove the sheet using chopsticks or similar utensils.

*If your pot is smaller than the sheet's diameter, simply cut the sheet to fit.

*For dishes that produce a lot of oil or scum, consider replacing the sheet during cooking for better results.
