Marutai Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen brings a deep, savoury pork flavour that pairs perfectly with thin, firm noodles in two minutes. The broth is made with pork extract and balanced with white pepper, ground sesame, soy sauce, and a touch of onion to round things out. It comes with a separate seasoning oil that adds richness without making it too heavy, giving you a satisfying bowl that doesn't feel overwhelming. This is ramen that keeps things simple but gets the key parts right.
The noodles are air-dried instead of fried or steamed, which helps them hold a texture that’s close to freshly made Hakata-style noodles. They have a nice chew that works well with the bold flavour of the soup. It’s quick to make, but it doesn’t cut corners. Whether you’re cooking late at night or just want something comforting, this ramen gives you a straight-up, honest bowl that doesn’t mess around.
Instructions:
Bring 500ML of water to a boil (or 1L if you're making both servings). Place the ramen in the boiling pot and cook for three minutes. Turn off the heat and place both sachets into the pot, stirring well. Serve immediately.
